Our service to you

Custom Cleaning will always contact you before attending.

Typically this will be 24-48 hrs in advance - leaving you time to ensure you are able to provide us access.


We clean on either a 6 weekly or 12 weekly cycle.

This may move slightly due to bad weather. If there are light showers we will clean through them and you are guaranteed the same results - or we will do it again for free!


How we are different

Custom Cleaning was started in response to the slow outdated practices of many window cleaners.

We always contact customers before attending - long gone are the days of missing the window cleaner because you didn't know to leave the side gate open.

We always provide a receipt - with our electronic payments, a receipt is always sent via email at the moment an invoice is raised.

We are not grumpy! We are happy to have you as customers and  want you to be pleased with the services provided or we will make it right for free!


1 First clean

For your first clean only there may be a one off charge to cover the additional time and purified water taken on the initial clean. This will be explained when signing up.

2. Turning us away

As all our work is by prior appointment, on the day of the clean it is too late for us to replace your clean with another. We reserve the right, if turning the cleaner away at the door or cancelling on the day or not providing access, to charge you the full clean price.

3. Complaints and ending our services

If you have any concerns with the quality of the window clean please contact us within 24 hours and we will reclean for free. After this time period a charge may be levied.

If you wish to cancel our services you can do so at any time by telephone or email.
However, we do not offer one-off window cleans, by using our services you agree to a minimum of 3 cleans. If cancelling before 3 cleans have taken place the remaining cleans will be payable.

4. Booking service, sub contracting and confidentiality

Custom Cleaning acts as a booking and payment intermediary service ensuring reliability and quality for all our customers. All window cleaning and other cleaning is sub contracted out to a fully insured professional cleaner. All customer information is kept on a confidential database and is not shared with any 3rd party individual or company. Selected customer information, such as customer address, is shared with our sub contractors to enable them to perform their duties on the day.

5. Payments

Customers joining our 6 or 12 weekly rounds are required to pay via the direct debit payment provider Gocardless. Payments are then taken automatically after each clean.
Customers opting for online bank transfers must make payment within 14 days of the cleaning date. We reserve the right, for payments received after 14 days, to charge a £40 administration fee and an additional interest charge of not more than 8%.
